The event will focus on the Ministry’s flagship initiatives, including Mission Vatsalya, Mission Shakti, and Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0.
Through a series of insightful sessions, the Shivir will address critical issues related to women’s safety, child welfare, nutrition, and education, aiming to strengthen the framework for the holistic development of women and children in India.
A key highlight of the event will be the presentation of best practices from various States and Union Territories. These sessions will showcase successful initiatives and explore strategies for scaling these practices to benefit more districts, ensuring robust delivery of services.
Key topics for discussion include Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 (Enhancing Anganwadi Centres as hubs for integrated services in nutrition, education, health, and awareness), Mission Vatsalya (Strengthening child welfare through better childcare institutions, foster care, adoption, and aftercare), and Mission Shakti (Empowering women through measures to address safety, child marriage, and leveraging technology like the SHe-Box portal).
The event will also provide an interactive platform for open discussions, where State/UT representatives can share ideas, tackle challenges, and collaborate on problem-solving strategies. This will ensure that the Ministry’s programs are effectively tailored to meet the needs of the targeted populations.
